Deccan Education Society’sPost Graduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology This is a one-year full-time course run autonomously by the Deccan Education Society through Fergusson College.
Structure of the course: Ø 4 theory papers
Ø Internships
Ø Training workshops
Ø Supervised case work
Eligibility: (According to preference) Ø M.A. or B.A. with Psychology major
Ø Graduation with Psychology as one of the subjects
Ø B.H.Sc. with Child Psychology as the specialization
Ø M.S.W.
Ø B.A.M.S. / B.H.M.S.
Ø Graduates of other disciplines
Ø (Minimum 60% marks at Graduation level)
Admission procedure: Ø Forms and prospectus available in the Dept. of Psychology, Fergusson College, from May.
Ø Completed forms to be returned to the department by 15th of June
Ø Merit list will be put up by 5th of July.
Ø Personal Interview Schedule will be put up along with the merit list.
Ø Final list of selected students will be put up.
Course begins by the second week of July.
