DES's Founder's Day Celebration

D.E.S’s Fergusson College (Autonomous) celebrated Founder’s Day with grandeur, reflecting the organization’s illustrious journey and remarkable achievements over the years.

“Founder’s Day was celebrated in remembrance of the first Secretary of the Deccan Education Society, Hon’ble Shri Vaman Shivaram Apte.”

The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Suresh Gosavi, Vice-Chancellor, Savitribai Phule Pune University, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Pramod Rawat, Chairman, Council & Governing Body, Deccan Education Society, presided over the function.

Prof. Dr. Shyam Mude, Principal, Fergusson College (Autonomous), along with other dignitaries including Prof. Swati Joglekar (Secretary, Governing Body, DES), Prof. Dr. Anand Katikar (Secretary, DES), and Vice-Principals Prof. Dr. Prakash Pawar, Dr. Dnyaneshwar Kumbhar, and Dr. Radhika Jadhav, Head of Departments, Coordinators, Teachers, and Students were present.

The highlight of the event was the prestigious Award Ceremony, where teachers were felicitated for their exceptional contributions in academics and excellence and students felicitated for their contributions in diverse fields, including NCC, NSS, and cultural activities, etc.

The celebration was marked by an atmosphere of pride, joy, and heartfelt gratitude, as the DES family came together to honor its rich heritage and commendable accomplishments. The event recognized outstanding talent and inspired everyone present to continue striving for excellence.
