Gender Action plan
Objectives
- To identify gender issues through social connects developed with the NGOs.
- Create an awareness amongst students and teachers about these issues.
- Strengthen the gender action programmes by the way of workshops, seminars and poster exhibitions.
- The college SOEC (Social Outreach and Enabling Centre), the NCC unit, the committee for prevention of sexual harassment and NSS to play a major role in creating awareness about gender issues, identify resources and implement programmes / activities for promotion for gender neutral environment.
- To support initiatives taken by the students and teachers addressing gender issues.
- Create sensitivity towards gender issues by the way of workshops, seminars, poster exhibitions.
- Conduct programmes on women empowerment and awareness about legal issues related to women.
- Awareness on overall issues related to women in terms of their wellbeing, health and hygiene.
