Biochemistry is a subject that explores the chemical reactions in living organisms. It is a basic core subject and combine laboratory based science of chemistry and biology. Biochemistry has wide applications in the fields like medicine, food Science, dentistry, agriculture, biotechnology, drug discovery, pharmacology, physiology, microbiology, toxicology, clinical chemistry.

This two years master’s course provides strong theoretical knowledge in the subjects like Genetics, Molecular biology, genetic engineering, Immunology, Stem Cell as Regenerative medicine, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics and practical skills, experiential learning and hands on many instruments. Students are also supported to participate in skill enhancement workshops like proteomics, chromatographic technique and bioinformatics.
