Fergusson College, under the management of the DES, has always been known for the high quality of education in our country. By beginning the degree course in Animation, Fergusson College has added another feather to its hat.
University of Pune, found it necessary to establish an independent Degree in Animation, to cater to the high demand in entertainment and allied sectors. It endeavors to provide a strong foundation in the fundamentals of Artistic Design, Story Development, Digital Creation and Portfolio Development through this course.

Fergusson Academy of Creative Sciences, a part of DES, that conducts courses in creative sciences, was already conducting a degree course in Animation affiliated to KSOU. When Savitribai Phule Pune University proposed to begin a course in 2010-11, DES Fergusson College grabbed the opportunity.
We are proud to state that our alumni are well-placed in various positions in the animation and allied fields.
