The fashion industry is one of the flourishing fields today, which requires well-equipped designers.

We at Deccan Education Society under our autonomous institute JRVGTI; have over two and a half decades of experience in Fashion Design, under various autonomous courses of as short as three months to 2 years where students have acquired knowledge and skills. Vocational Degree Program BVOC in Fashion Technology aims to make independent and creative designers with analytical, observation skills and Information on current market trends.

To become a designer, one must have insights into art and technology, trends and techniques, concepts and communication, visual merchandising, and manufacturing. During this Program, we equip our students with knowledge of basic and advanced modules such as textiles, clothing construction, Element of and principles of design, manual and computer aided fashion illustration, draping, Styling with fashion photography, digital marketing, beauty and communication skills, arts & crafts, surface ornamentation and basics of entrepreneurship. It makes our students not just ready for the job but also begin with their own ventures. We provide our students with a platform for fashion shows, study tours, workshops, and seminars to become budding fashionistas.

B. Voc. The program is a credit-based program with a total of 180 credit points over a period of three years. (60 credit points per year.) The program is run with two components: general education component and skills component. This program B Voc Fashion Technology has the exits per the new education policy i.e., after two semesters a Diploma, after 4 semesters advanced diploma and after 6 semesters a complete degree under Fergusson College, Pune (Autonomous), Savitribai Phule Pune university.
