This particular programme is a combination of the papers, which are part of various sectors of media. Papers related to sectors like Journalism, Filmmaking, Photography, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, and Creative Writing form the core syllabus of this course B.Voc. in Media and Communication. Thus, students pursuing this course are generally employable in almost all core sectors of Media and Communication.

The B. Voc. Programme is a credit-based programme with 180 credit points over a span of three years (60 credit points per year). This course is designed with a basket approach, which means the employable potential of a student does get enhanced with each semester. It has components like image processing, news writing, podcasting, writing/communication skills, video editing/production, translation skills, page design, audio production/radio programming etc. It also includes the general education component, which is designed to develop language skills, audio-visual aesthetics and core content elements.
