Department of Geography

The Department of Geography was established in 1950. Late Professor J. B. Kumthekar was the first Head of the Geography Department. Afterwards Professor D.S. Desai, A.V. Bhagwat & S.B. Nalawade carried forward the legacy. Presently, the department offers undergraduate programme for B.A. at a general level. Department conducts various activities like study tours, field visits, Guest Lectures of eminent professors. Students can study papers from various fields of Physical and Human Geography at different levels of their undergraduate programme. The Result of the Geography department has been 100% for the past many years.
