Syllabi
Dr. Shobhana Abhyankar, former Head of the Department, took a keen interest in starting the M.A. programme in Psychology in 2006 and setting up a satellite library for PG students. For the PG course, two specializations are offered, Industrial Psychology and Clinical Psychology.
Under the leadership of the current Head of Department, Mr. Anil Sawarkar, the department continues to flourish. A defining strength lies in its strong emphasis on research. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students actively engage in research projects addressing contemporary and relevant issues in psychology.
The department also provides a rigorous foundation in psychometry, equipping students with valuable skills for both academic and professional pursuits. Over the years, it has nurtured and produced distinguished psychologists, psychotherapists, and accomplished academicians who have made significant contributions to the field.
