After passing standard X examination, a student can take admission in Fergusson Junior College for standard XI. The admission procedure is completely centralized and online.
This admission procedure mainly starts after the result of Maharashtra state board’s SSC examinations are declared. The admission process is as follows:
• Student has to visit https://mahafyjcadmissions.in/ site for the registration.
• Register and get Login id and password. While registering student has to select a stream, board of standard 10th examination etc .
• In Part 1 student has to fill the personal information, board of 10th std. examination etc. Also student has to upload the standard 10th Mark sheet, leaving certificate and other required supporting documents for any social or special reservations.
• Then student can fill part 2 of the form where student can choose the college names of his/her choice – at least one and maximum ten colleges can be chosen.
• Considering student’s college preference, marks, social reservation if any, special reservation if any, student is allotted the college in CAP. Then student can go to the allotted college and complete the admission procedure. Student must carry all the original documents which are uploaded along with the photocopies.
• Minimum three rounds of CAP take place. Right from opening of form registration to admission, counselling and guidance is constantly available for the students. And Fergusson Junior college is one of the main guidance centers.
• For the admissions, from the total seats 10% seats are reserved for In-house quota (For students of DES’s institutes in Pune and PCMC area)
• There is no Management quota available for admission in std. XI in Fergusson College.
